Fr Dr Krystian Ziaja – Portraits

Our parish priest on his birthday, which he celebrated with us in Folwark on 10 November 2001 in the Świętkownia.

Doctor of theology in the field of biblical studies. Born on 2 November 1951 in Pyskowice. Ordained a priest on 16 May 1976. He was appointed parish priest of our parish on 21 August 1995. He is at the same time an assistant professor at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Opole. Initiator of the extension of our chapel.

Today I receive birthday wishes. He receives birthday wishes from a young lady.

I am a frequent guest on the building site. The initiator of the rebuilding of our chapel now has worries about how to bring the project to completion. He is often on the site, checking the progress of the work. Here, April 2002.

And this is my 50th birthday in Folwark. A big present, because a big parcel. But they wrapped it. After all, where is the present? Birthday, Folwark 10.11.2001.

This is how children play at the parsonage. This is how we celebrate the May outing with the children at the priest’s.

Christmas fair at the parsonage – I am Santa Claus. There were not enough Santa Claus accessories for everyone.

My birthday. A long queue to offer birthday wishes to the parish priest. Mrs Krysia makes sure that all the candles are placed correctly to form the jubilee number.

My birthday guests. On 10 November 2001 in our community room, the Świętkownia, we celebrated the 50th birthday of our parish priest. There were about 60 guests – Fr Marcin and the parish priest’s mother. A buffet, plenty of food – a “great” atmosphere.
