Mr Norbert at his post – in the sacristy. Today there is great excitement, Bishop Jan Kopiec is coming. We expect many guests, headed by the Mayor of Proszków, Mrs Róża Malik. In the background the deeply moved Fr Janek. On the left Mr Józef Kornek, who as a representative of the residents will welcome the Bishop. Turned away on the right, Lidia Kochanek will also welcome the guests.

He was officially appointed sacristan on 19 December 2004. He successfully passed the examination to become an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. The parish priest warmly congratulated him on this occasion. We too warmly congratulate Mr Norbert Steinhof and wish him perseverance.

At work in the chapel

22 April 2002. He never shied away from work for our chapel. Here we see him on a ladder, installing the electrical wiring. Cables and electrons are his speciality – so that everything shines as it should.

We see the scaffolding – the formwork on which the ceiling will be laid. This was the most responsible part of the whole renovation. But our skilled workers showed what they can do, and the ceiling was designed and built properly. A lot can be read from this photograph: those who know about building can congratulate everyone who worked here on good professional work, and the rest can thank them for many, really many hours of hard work.

In an hour the first village festival will begin; preparations are under way at the back and in the yard. This is the result of the enormous work of our residents. We saw scaffolding and formwork, and here it is already clean and bright, and the first ladies are waiting for the service. Today, in 2005, we also have beautiful pews, which replaced the chairs visible here.
